Treitak Goran

++Location – TAG Manufacturing Plant, Valkenswijk, ++

...“these things are so easy to operate, even a monkey could do it” – Nameless human manufacturing employee...

Agent Goran and Superior Officer Kornak were sitting at the head of the mess table aboard their transport ship, ready to address the combat group on the next mission.

“Okay Boys, Command wants us to capture and control a factory for their clunkers. I sense a training opportunity for our soon to be Raicho Pilots. Intelligence has it that there will be five TAGs located across the factory, and likely the humans will want to use them to their advantage.”

Kornak pointed at his Sogarat bodyguards and said “And that is where you two come in, anything Goran and the pilots can’t get to, you will destroy. I want Anti-Materiel weapons stocked and ready to go”.

Looking over at the Yaogat soldiers, Goran addressed them “You are the contingency plan, in case these big Mother F*ckers can’t get to all of them in the hangar. You will also have the duty to escort our pilots.”

Laughter and profanities sounded in the hallway as the Daturazi showed up with four maverick types in tow. “We found them boss, ready to go when you are”.

4 hours later...

Kornak lead the Morat forces into defensive positions. The human combat team had the initiative and was certain they would make a dash for the TAGs. Knowing this, his forces were places in overwatch. “If anything moves Jotor, make it dead.” The hulking Sogarat in his grey armour nodded “Sir.”

As the human forces coordinated their pilot escort, they began to mount up. Two of three TAGs were boarded successfully. “There! Open Fire.” Kornak and Jotor lit up the TAG as it fired up its engines and sent a volley of Mk12 rounds. Returning fire, Kornak put two rounds dead centre into the primary motor control unit, severely damaging the walker. Jotor put it down with his return fire, hiting the main fuel reactor through the weakened armour with his Fuerbach. The Anti-Materiel shells burst through a thermal cell, catching fire and engulfing the machine, killing the pilot outright. “Confirmed Kill Sir, Nice Shooting”, said Jotor. Kornak replied with a smug grin on his face, “usually it is you getting all the fun Jotor, I was getting rusty”.

The Daturazi were getting restless by this point, so began their advance. Hearing the sound of a drop trooper, Ravik decided to flank the building to the nearest target. The look of surprise on the dark skinned human specialist was short lived. The Daturazi passed by her in a blink of an eye. At first, she thought the space monkey didn’t see her and just kept running. Then she felt the uncomfortable feeling of her bowels spilling to the ground as she entered a state of shock, and then death.

The Morats advanced, successfully mounting three TAGs and turning them on the humans. “As long as we hold one of these clunkers, the rest don’t matter.” Said Kornak over the radio. “Give them hell and let’s see what these pieces of Sh!t can do!” Mk12 fire rang out as the left flank pilot rounded the corner and waded into the human forces. The pilot hit the auto target function and sent two DEP shots into the other Captured TAG. Taking return fire, all system were still green. “These nano-screens actually work!” Exclaimed the pilot, as she opened fire with the dual Mk12’s spreading destruction around and dropping targets.

On the right Flank, as the Morat pilot activated the newly acquired TAG, the human engineer cowering in the undercarriage planted a demo charge. As the machine rounded the corner to open fire, the charge went off, rendering it inoperable. As the human engineer smirked, she went over to begin repairs while the knight to her flank engaged the Yaogats.

Stepping out of the dropship, Goran made his way along the right flank near some crates. Having a Daturazi engage the Order Knight guarding the engineer, now was the opportunity he was waiting for. Goran rounded the corner and fired off his shotgun into the engineer, who had just finished celebrating her repair job on the TAG. “Thank you for that, now you Die B!tch”. Walking over to the TAG, Goran climbed into the cockpit. The scene on the other side of the battlefield was exactly what you would expect from a heavy Morat Assault in a TAG Factory. Smoking corpses and bullet holes were everywhere.

The Daturazi fought hard against the Knight, but his superior skills seemed to be failing him. Whirling to catch the sword strike, he was sure the fight had been won - only to find he had misjudged the highguard stance of his opponent. A Heavy boot hit him in the thigh as he spun, knocking him off balance and right into the arc of death being delivered by the Knight.

“Perfect” Thought Goran. As the Daturazi dropped to the floor, the Knight looked up to see the Morat Spec-Ops Laughing as he unloaded a full clip. Heavy calibre rounds shredded the last human to pieces in a display of wanton murder only a battle crazed space monkey in a stolen TAG can provide.

“This place is ours Boys! Looks like we have some new toys to bring home as well HAHAHAHAHA!!”

Jiro Nakamura

“What’s the Lt doing?” Jiro muttered to himself. The Crane Agent had crawled up on top of a case and went prone, to watch over the two containers in the right and middle of the battlefield. He was exposed up there, and with the zero-g environment, being on top of something didn’t mean as much as it normally did.

He couldn’t hear the shot being fired, but he saw the impacts slam into and around the Lt. The Crane Agent rolled off the shipping container, clutching his leg, trying to hold the blood in. He landed awkwardly on the container behind, and stopped to try to staunch the blood. Unaware he was still visible to the shooter, several more rounds from the same shooter flew past the corner of the container and smashed into the Crane’s helmet and torso armour. He drifted off the container from the impact of the bullets and slowly drifted away from the battle, bleeding out of several holes in his armour.
“Oh good. The Lt is down. This mission’s gone from bad to worse.” Jiro muttered to himself.

Johnny Silvini

The screams and gunfire seemed to go on forever and Johnny Silvini kept his head down the entire time, rocking back and forth behind the desk in the garage he had been advancing through.

"I'm not getting paid enough for this!!!!" He shouted, barely able to hear himself over the racket outside, stray bullets bursting through the windows and ricocheting around the room. The creepy Aleph representative had assigned his squad to recover a hacker who was selling secrets to the enemy. Well, part of him anyway. It was supposed to be a quick, in and out job, minimal enemy presence expected.

Shock of shocks, intel was wrong.

Not only was the facility swarming with gross frog people and their drones, the bastard hacker had left a pile of booby-trapped decoys that the poor rookie Alguacila Consuela had discovered the hard way. The leftovers made even Johnny's stomach turn when he had taken a peak across the field.

Eventually the gunfire eased off and Johnny dared to creep to the window and take a look outside. Just past the main door he could see one of the strange slimy robot things working the latch of one of the tech coffins, one that notably was not exploding in a messy disaster like the others had!

"Agent 69 must be in there! I can just take out that drone, knife him in the face and take his cube and book it to the escape ship around the corner! This plan can't fail, I'm a genius!"

Moving from cover to cover towards the garage door, combi-rifle at the ready, Johnny hunched against the frame and hit the button to open it. There was another drone on the roof across the street but a couple rounds sent it fizzing and sparking, out of action. Movement in a window below it was met by another burst of fire and a clever one-liner, the frog looking creature diving for cover in fear.

"Who's got two thumbs and is a total badass? This guy!"

The drone by the coffin was still struggling with the lock, seeming to not even notice Johnny's approach, totally focused on it's task.

"I've got this, nothing can stop me n....gah!"

A screaming Morat suddenly came barreling around the corner towards Johnny, cutting him off mid-boast with a blast from the biggest shotgun he had ever seen. The first fireball hit right next to him, sending molten concrete spattering all over but the second hit him square in the chest and sending him flying backwards into a pile of garbage and spare parts.

There was a sizzle of burning armour and flesh and then a final pained mutter, then everything went dark.

El-Shiva-Ra

Everything was going according to plan thought the The Mistress of lies. Then it didn't.

The humans had been neutralized. The tech coffins were hers.

The Corax Agent had read the files. She knew her foe. She was prepared.

Not for this...

Not for him...

Seed soldiers exploded around her as the base rocked with devastation. It was a perfect trap. Every tech coffin was booby trapped. Agent 696 made a mockery of the Shivasti. El-Shivi-Ra herself had been paralyzed by an exploding electro-magnetic pulse.

As she surveyed the loss of her kin she spied the Nomad agent across the way. She was unable to move despite her rage. The terrorist simply winked at her and strolled away...
